What I am most concerned about is how much DC has gotten its clutches into Talarico. That started happening very quickly and if starts behaving like Colin in 2024 we will be in trouble. What is different this time is that we have Democrats running in all 254 counties and in every state house and senate district as well as congressional, so those will ensure against the DC total fuck up, which is happening already.
We are living in interesting times for sure. The noise Republicans and other destructive actors tried during the Crockett Talarico primary didn't seem to distract voters from the fact MAGA is hostile to their real needs. Turns out if Democrats will just wade in and do old-fashioned retail politics people will vote for us. We have our work cut us to keep the wave going. But we have proof of concept with these Dem wins and even better we have the wind at our back.
